I have a laptop that’s powered/charged via a USB-C and has an additional USB-C and USB-A. So if I’m plugged in/charging and have a wireless mouse dongle in the USB-A and an external drive in the other USB-C I have no way to get my camera -m or anything else – connected to download and backup files. This USB Hub is the solution. This device arrived the day after I ordered it in brand-new safe-and-sound condition. It’s a nicely-designed and well-made device. It is metallic, appearing to be made of aluminum – very nice! It is, of course, small. Since it’s got a USB-A plug on one end and a USB-C plug on the other I can attach it to my laptop with either and then have 2 USB-A and 2 USB-C ports available. Wonderful! So far it’s worked great. No difficulties at all. I just have to be sure there is space in the work area for the thing to stick out from where it’s plugged in. I suppose I could get – and will consider getting – an adapter so that I can plug it in with a short cable but so far it’s not been a problem this little thing sticking out from the back of my laptop. It travels well in my laptop bag without a separate carry case. At $8.99 list as of this writing it’s quite economical as well!

I got the CHONCHOW USB Hub as I work with ruggedized tablets with only 2 USB ports and needed more ports. The hub features 2 USB-A and 2 USB-C ports for your devices. Then on each end there is a USB-A plug and USB-C plug so no matter which port you need to pug into, you can! The hub is small in size, a little larger than a USB thumb drive, is light and feels well built. The small size makes it great to toss in your backpack for traveling. I have used it so far to plug in a mouse, keyboard and ethernet dongles and everything has worked without a problem. I am very happy with this as it's just what I needed and am thinking of buying another to have just in case. Overall, I'm very happy with the item and you will be too!

Great value, decent quality build for the the price $8.00. It allows USB A or USB C connectivity to the host device, which then provides a USB 2.0, USB 3.0, and 2 USB C data only ports (no PD charge capability but for the price you shouldn't expect that). It is a VERY small compact size and adds great functionality, turning 1 USB A or 1 USB C into 4 Ports (2 USB A, 2 USBC). I will carry this in my travel bag for convenience at all times.

I was recently upgraded on my work laptop. In doing this, my port options changed drastically! I was not prepared for this at all! I think you don't always realize how many things you have plugged in until you can no longer plug them in. For a price point, this seemed pretty average to me. It is a good quality material, well made. Two USB's on one side, one USB c on each side. One end is USB and one is USB c. It allows for a multitude of plug in and conversion options really. Very compact and easy to travel with too. I like that it is a stick rather than a cord personally. But that comes from me having to take my laptop everywhere. If this were connected even by a short cord, it would flop about every time I picked up my computer. I like the stick because it stays in place whenever I move my laptop about. As for the power it can handle for speed, I cannot speak on that as I am only using mine for things like wireless keyboards and such. Nothing like external hard drives or anything.
