I keep my cellphone in a holder on my dash. The sun coming through the windshield would overheat the phone. I connected this fan to it and now it stays around 29-30° c. When you touch tbe flat part it feels freezing cold. It works really well.
I play Call of Duty on my iPhone 14 PM. That is until it would get too hot and shut down. Until I bought this little magnet cooling fan. It is literally ridiculous how cold this thing gets and I haven’t had an app shut down due to heat in the Verdansk final ring since this arrived.

I didn’t expect much and thought it was just a cool-looking gimmick with colorful LED lighting. I was wrong. The back of the small fan gets extremely cold. I measured its surface temperature with my infrared thermometer, and it registered as low as 50.5°F while my room temperature was 80°F. The temperature difference is very noticeable. But that was without being mounted on my phone. To mount it on my phone, I had to use the adhesive magnet as my phone doesn't have a magnetic back and it's too wide to attach the fan with the included clips. It holds though and keeps my phone cooler indeed. The fan is square-shaped, with sides measuring roughly 2 ⅜ inches. It seems to have three cooling levels - L1, L2, and L3 - which cycle when I press the power button repeatedly. However, I’m not sure what the changing numbers mean after selecting a level. Since there’s no built-in battery, I power it via a USB port or my portable power bank. Unfortunately, the LED lights can’t be turned off, which would extend the power bank’s battery life. On the other hand, I find the lights too cool looking to turn them off.
Let's start with how amazing this little gadget cools down, it almost feels like a little freezer on the cooling pad. It drops about 15 degrees C (about 28F) off from ambient temperature. Tested at 68F ambient and dropped to 40F. The one thing that is a bit of a hassle is that you need to supply power to work, it does not have any battery power. Other than that, a great contraction to cool your phone. Whats nice about it: - Incredible how cool it gets.... incredible - It is very effective to cool down a phone, tested on two iPhones (iPhone 14 and iPhone 12) - Quiet, even on the highest setting the fan noise is very low, about the same of a laptop fan - Nicely built What is not nice: - Nothing, but here is a list that would be nice to have: + It's own power source + A way to turn off the light (for anyone not needing them on)
