My RPG light typerwriter style keyboard started to have issues with the keys working even after resetting it to default. Keyboards do not seem to last me more than a couple of years. I type a lot and fast. I have also wondered if my overweight cat is sitting on my keyboard after I have gone to bed because I keep finding cat 'glitter' on my desk and keyboard. It could be that her weight might be causing key issues. But I digress. Even though I use my computer for work and playing simple games, I love RPG lighted keyboards. Do not be confused as I am not a 'GAMER' by no means. This purple keyboard and mouse combo looks really cool with my Kuromi desk mat. I am used to really noisy keys, but there is just a tapping noise you can hear, but it is not all that bad, even when I am typing fast. When you are typing along, do not worry if the lights suddenly stop because you probably hit incorrect keys like the light key that looks like a sun. There are no instructions in the box that I found, but I did find helpful keyboard and mouse light instructions on the bottom of the box. The combo I purchased it bright,the casings are clear and the keys are purple. If you tip the keyboard over you can see the inside of the keyboard and on the mouse you can see the mechanics of the mouse from the sides. I found the mouse to be a little bit large for my hand. It is not as contoured as much as my previous mouse. I found the sides where you lay your thumb and pinky to be thicker than what I am used to. However, it is easy to use and just by going into setting you can make the mouse faster or slower. All you need to do is plug both into your computer. No need to download anything for use. Both are really lightweight. I would like to point out, much like many, many other keyboards - if you eat while you are on the computer, make sure you do not get crumbs on the keyboard. This is going to be a nightmare to clean. There is no silicone membrane keeping liquids, dust or crumbs out of the tiny areas. In the description it state water-resistant, I do not know if I would want to trust that, but I do have to say that this keyboard has the underside of the keys covered unlike my previous keyboads. So it might buy you enough time to quickly clean your mess before anything happens. I like the length of the keyboard which is 17 to 17.5 inches long. I do not like those compact ones. All in all, it is pleasing to look at, easy to use and I have not found any significant issues.
